Exciting Extension
We are delighted to announce the construction of our £2 million extension is now finished!
The strong demand for resident spaces at Rubislaw led to our decision to build 16 additional rooms plus associated dining, social and recreational areas for residents - also expecting to create 20 new jobs.
The news of our finished extension follows our other fantastic news of being awarded grade six marks by the regulatory body, the Care Inspectorate. During our most recent inspection, we received the highest possible grade in the areas of quality of care and support and quality management.
Our home has already been the focus of a multimillion-pound investment programme and to date, the work on our home has involved the rejuvenation of rooms and lounges and the creation of a new restaurant/dining room, a bar, a celebration room for private functions, a spa salon and library.
Rubislaw is set in large, secure and accessible gardens and we are now able to offer long-term nursing care as well as the residential care which was previously available and care for residents with dementia.
Our Care Home Director, Manpreet Johal said: "Our focus remains on raising standards within the care sector and this new project further underlines that ongoing commitment."
