Generous Donation Enhances Residents’ Outing Experience

We've been lucky to receive a very generous donation from a family member of one of our service users, Mr. Urquhart. The money has been designated to support our residents with an outing to the theatre alongside a dining experience.

Our residents have arranged this outing with the support of our activities team; they're all very much looking forward to an afternoon of entertainment and fine dining.

Here at Rubislaw Park, we have a strong ethos of supporting our residents in not only enjoying their life, ensuring it's fulfilled within the home but also being able to enjoy and participate in many days out and activities as they wish to, just like they would have prior to needing care.

Residents who require care as they get older, or suffer from medical declines should be supported to live a fulfilled and enabled life and here at Rubislaw Park Care Home, we do exactly that. We support our residents in all of their wishes and participate in wider local community events. We encourage and empower our residents to make decisions around how they live their life, it's a fundamental right and ensures that for those residents who come into our care home, don't loose their independence. We promote how residents are enabled to live their life trough positive risk tasking and physical safety is always considered, restricting abilities can be detrimental in ensuring a holistic approach to the care we provide.
