For the third consecutive year, Rubislaw Park has achieved an extraordinary milestone: we have successfully eliminated the need for agency staff within our home. We are particularly proud to announce that Rubislaw Park Care Home has been at the forefront of an exciting and transformative training initiative. As the first care home in Scotland to welcome the mobile skills simulation unit from NHS Grampian (NHSG), we recently hosted a three-day educational event designed to provide bespoke, hands-on training for our staff. This state-of-the-art mobile simulation module brought advanced training techniques directly to our doorstep, ensuring our staff had access to tailored, practical learning that meets their specific roles and skill sets.


The pilot project with NHSG allowed our team members—from nurses to care assistants and other essential personnel—to participate in realistic simulated scenarios that replicate the complex situations they encounter in their daily roles.
