A weekend that Agnes will never forget…

Resident Agnes wasn’t going to miss her granddaughter's wedding and with the support of the staff at Rubislaw Park, we made sure that she could celebrate this special occasion in style. 

In the lead up to wedding, Rosie and Michelle took Agnes out for an afternoon of shopping and made sure that she had not one but two outfits (and all the necessary accessories) for the big day. Alanna, our Beauty Therapist, gave Michelle a tutorial on occasional make-up and Pauline set Agnes’s hair. Agnes was now looking glamorous from head to toe, ready for her granddaughter's big day.

Agnes was collected from Rubislaw Park by a chauffeur-driven car and escorted to Edinburgh with her carer, and friend, Michelle. They both looked beautiful and had a wonderful weekend filled with laughter and dancing. 

So many precious memories were made, not just for Agnes but for those who love her dearly. Agnes was over the moon to have attended her granddaughter's wedding, I'm sure they'll be lots of conversations between Agnes and the residents at Rubislaw Park about this wonderful day.
