Rubislaw Park is in Full Bloom!
With the warmer weather soon to be approaching us, we are glad to say that work is underway for the rejuvenation of our garden and courtyard areas.
At Rubislaw Park, we are extremely fortunate to be situated within two-acres of greenery and nature. Our outdoor areas have proven to be popular with our residents, who frequently take the opportunity to get some fresh air and admire visiting wildlife, such as deer and owls.
We have recently received a very generous donation from the family of one of our residents which will be put towards the garden project, which will see the planting of new shrubs and blooms in our raised flower beds as well as preparing the garden with furniture, ready for sunnier days.
As the work on our gardens and patios continues, the residents will also be creating their own flower pots and arrangements, and hopefully soon the residents will have a very colourful and blossoming environment to relax both inside and out.
We truly understand the benefits both gardening and outdoor activities have on the overall wellbeing of our residents. Giving them the opportunity to get outdoors, soak up some vitamin D and keep their bodies and minds active is something we highly value, which is why we go to great lengths to maintain the area and encourage our residents to make good use of it.
When the sun is shining, we often let residents dine al-fresco on the patio or hold our Friday 'Happy Hour' in the courtyard. It is great for the residents to have an additional area of the home where they can relax, socialise, and be entertained.
