Meet our Manager, Gayle Duthie
As a Registered General Nurse for over 25 years, Gayle has managed within several acute clinical settings and is passionate about delivering the very highest standards of care. Striving to ensure care needs are not only met but exceed expectations is of paramount importance to Gayle and her team at Rubislaw Park Care Home.
Gayle has a keen interest in governance and quality and has worked hard throughout her career to build strong relationships with wider organisations with the aim of continuously improving care standards. Previously, Gayle held the posts of Associate Lecturer in Nurse Education and Practice at Robert Gordon University, and, also as Director of Clinical Services within a private surgical hospital.
Gayle explained: “I am very proud of my nursing background and believe all members of my team should be given every opportunity to grow and develop in their field. I love getting to know staff, and regularly spend time with the carers and nurses within all units of the home.
“It’s also essential we have solid relationships with every resident. For me, it’s an absolute privilege to care for our residents in the later years of their lives.
“Rubislaw Park is part of a progressive organisation which offers a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) approach, where care is at the heart of everything we offer. Quality and resident experience are also of great importance and resonates through all decisions made at the home."
