Our cinema facilities have long been one of the most popular features at Rubislaw Park. Residents have been coming here at least once a week for many years, carefully selecting a film, heating up the popcorn machine, and settling in for an evening of big screen fun.

The cinema here at Rubislaw Park is essential for bringing everyone closer together, and developing a sense of routine that is crucial when relocating to a brand new home.

Residents are encouraged to use the lounge room to catch a classic film with their Rubislaw Park neighbours or to invite friends and family to watch one of their favourite movies projected on the large screen. They are also encouraged to take advantage of the snacks we have to offer, because after all, what’s a movie without popcorn?

The Cinema

The cinema at Rubislaw Park is open for business, with a large selection of movies for our residents to watch and an abundance of snacks to eat. Watching movies together is guaranteed to bring all of our residents a lot closer together, and the films we have available are constantly growing in numbers. A fairly new addition to the facilities and activities we have here at Rubislaw Park, but by no means not a firm resident favourite.

Our cinema has become the go-to place in the evenings, with a different movie playing almost every night. It’s also the perfect place to hang out with friends and family members; with our comfortable seating options, who wouldn’t want to spend the evening at a brand new movie premier from the comfort of your own home?

We have quite the selection of movies here at Rubislaw Park, from the classic black and white films to somewhat more contemporary selections. Suffice to say that whatever our resident’s favourite genres might be, we guarantee that we’ll have something that sparks their interest.

Cinema FAQs

Our cinema room has been created to provide residents with the full cinema experience without having to travel out of the home. From a large television screen and comfortable chairs to cinema snacks being offered and lots of film titles to choose from, residents can truly unwind in this space.

All residents are welcome to make use of our cinema room as part of their all-inclusive package. Relatives and loved ones can also join them in using our cinema room, and if requested, we can arrange for residents to have private viewings with friends and family.

We have a large collection of film titles to choose from and we work closely with residents to learn about their favourite films so that we can try to include them. On occasion, we also show special televised events.
